Ordinary Cat 6 cable is not designed for outdoor use. The source will be on the 3rd floor attic where my networking equipment lives. From there it will be run over behind the walls into the unfinished part of the attic and dropped to the 2nd floor. Then it drops again into the garage (easier to work with).
